Freedom Riding SUP Costa Rica was formed by Andy Seidensticker and his Costa Rican wife Edith. They started doing SUP lessons and tours early 2010, and opened a SUP Center near the launch spot in the Mal Pais Fishing Village.

Today almost 25 years after moving to Costa Rica, Andy has diversified and has formed Freedom Riding SUP Costa Rica, to cater to all levels of paddle boarders. His extensive knowledge of the whole area, mixed with the 42 years surfing experience, 30 years shaping experience (fin shaping is included), 9 years paddle boarding gives Andy a very big advantage in providing the best service to his clients. It should be noted that some of the paddle boards that are used on Freedom Riding Adventures are Andys own designs, and are built to work best in the conditions on the Nicoya Peninsula.
